Public Space as Ideal Form / Grid / Ubiquitous

In regards to a living in a Utopia, it seems to be impossible to have a city that is extremely prefect for every class. The only way that this idea could truly be possible would be to have no class and well designed locations through out the city itself. Even if this proposal were even remotely possible, the words total design would have to come up in conversation. We are in the 21st-century where cities have already been created. There aren’t going to be cities that just come up from the ground that is prefect for every single person to live in. Instead we have to deal with the Chicago’s, New York’s, and London’s, of the world that already exist. In one of these major cities the ideas of total design would be a waste of time as well as generations of life. To rebuilt a city from the ground up would take years. The people that would be in charge of these proposals for this city would be long gone before the rest of the world would see their “child”.
This idea of a Utopia would be an amazing Idea if this could actually be possible the city would inhabitable for about 100 years. With Millions of people having to live in trailer parks needing new jobs. If one city were being “totally rebuilt” the whole area would be completely barren in a few years. People would leave to find new residence around another city. People need cities in order to survive these days. There are truly no jobs that take place outside of the city. The only reason why communities form outside the city is to be close enough to their job though outside of the busy city life.
